On November 8, Indian cricketers Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal, along with former players Irfan Pathan and Suresh Raina, took to social media to wish their fans a joyous Diwali, hoping for happiness and prosperity during this festival of lights.

Jadeja celebrated the occasion in a distinctive manner, posting a picture of himself in a pink kurta, representing his connection with the Rajasthan Royals (RR). He also shared an Instagram story wearing a yellow kurta, which signifies his long-term association with Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 approaches, Jadeja and England's Sam Curran have transitioned from CSK to RR, while wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has moved to CSK for a whopping Rs 18 crore. Jadeja's retention fee was adjusted to Rs 14 crore, down from Rs 18 crore, prior to the last season.
