St John’s [Antigua], April 30: The cricketing world is in mourning following the unexpected death of Norman Gilbert, who served as the President of the Grenada Cricket Association and was a member of the Windward Islands Cricket Board.
In a heartfelt statement, Cricket West Indies conveyed their condolences to Gilbert’s family, friends, and the broader cricket community in Grenada and throughout the Caribbean.
Gilbert was celebrated as a dedicated administrator with a forward-thinking approach, significantly impacting the development of cricket in Grenada. His long-term commitment to nurturing the sport at various levels has left a profound legacy within the region's cricketing framework.
