CSK will kick off their 2026 IPL campaign against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30. Following this match, they will take on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 3, followed by a clash with the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), on April 5, and a match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 11.

Notably, MS Dhoni, the iconic captain of CSK, is set to play once more in the IPL, with many speculating that this might be his final season.

At 44 years old, Dhoni is among only four active players who have participated in every IPL season, alongside Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Manish Pandey. Throughout his IPL journey, Dhoni has amassed 5,439 runs in 278 matches, boasting an average of 38 and a strike rate of 137, ranking him sixth among the highest run-scorers in IPL history.
