Chennai Super Kings Celebrate Legends at ROAR 2026
Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India] - On Sunday, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) celebrated the remarkable contributions of legendary cricketers Suresh Raina and Matthew Hayden by inducting them into their inaugural Hall of Fame during the pre-season fan event, ROAR 2026, held at the iconic Chepauk Stadium.
As the IPL gears up for its 19th season, the five-time champions CSK organized the event to connect with their fans at the renowned MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Affectionately known as 'Mr. IPL,' Raina has been a cornerstone of CSK's batting lineup, while Hayden brought an explosive style as an opener in the franchise's formative years.

Raina is celebrated as one of the league's all-time greats, amassing 5,528 runs in 205 matches, including a century and 39 fifties, making him the fifth-highest run-scorer in IPL history. He has multiple IPL titles with CSK.
In his IPL career, Hayden played 32 matches, scoring 1,107 runs with an impressive average of 36.90 and a strike rate of 137.51, which included eight fifties.
During the same event, MS Dhoni recognized T20 World Cup champions Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and U-19 winning captain Ayush Mhatre, presenting them with special mementoes to celebrate their achievements.
The event also highlighted CSK veterans and commemorated the recent T20 World Cup victory. Despite finishing last in the previous season, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team has strengthened its lineup through the mini-auction and is optimistic about clinching a record sixth title this year.
