The franchise later revealed that his recovery would take longer than initially expected, leading to his absence from several key matches, including a notable clash at M. However, there is a glimmer of hope for CSK fans, as reports suggest that Dhoni might return for the team's seventh match of the season at Wankhede Stadium against their rivals, the Mumbai Indians.
