A Historic Collaboration Comes to an End


The Chennai Super Kings and their long-time coach Stephen Fleming have mutually agreed to part ways, marking the end of a remarkable chapter in the Indian Premier League's history. This decision was made with mutual respect and appreciation after thorough discussions between Fleming and the team's management.


Fleming joined the Super Kings as a player during the inaugural IPL season in 2008 and transitioned to head coach in 2009. Over the span of 17 years, he played a pivotal role in establishing one of the most respected and successful franchises in cricket.


Under his leadership, CSK secured five IPL titles and two Champions League Twenty20 championships. The team has also reached the playoffs a record 12 times and participated in 10 IPL finals.
