Surat (Gujarat) [India] - January 16: The Chennai Singams showcased their prowess in the ISPL T10 Season 3, achieving a convincing 38-run victory against Falcon Risers Hyderabad. This win marks their second consecutive triumph, propelling them to the top of the points table.


After winning the toss, captain Ankur Singh's choice to bat first proved to be a game-changer. The Singams amassed a record-breaking total of 118 runs for 2 wickets in their 10 overs, setting the highest score of the season thus far.


Vice-captain Ketan Mhatre was instrumental in the innings, launching an aggressive attack that saw him score 24 runs in the opening over, putting the Falcon Risers on the defensive. Partnering with Jagannath Sarkar, the duo formed a formidable opening partnership, racing to 50 runs in just 3.2 overs and ultimately contributing to an impressive 86-run stand.


Ketan achieved his first fifty of the season, reaching the milestone in a record time of just 27 balls, before finishing with a remarkable 54 runs off 30 balls. Jagannath continued the momentum with a solid 37 runs from 26 balls, maintaining his excellent form from the previous match.


Contributions from Munna Shaikh and Sarfraz Khan helped Chennai close their innings at 118/2, marking their second score exceeding 100 this season.
