This draft marks a significant achievement in the preparation for the second season of Canada’s premier T-10 cricket league. Following a groundbreaking inaugural season, Canada Super 60 is back with an even larger scale, uniting top international stars, leading Canadian players, and offering an unparalleled fan experience at one of North America’s most iconic venues.
Season 2 will showcase six city-based franchises: Vancouver Anchors, Whiterock Warriors, Brampton Blitz, Toronto Sixers, Mississauga Masters, and Montreal Royal Tigers.
The Player Draft has successfully brought together a remarkable mix of established international players, explosive match-winners, and Canada’s brightest cricketing talents, resulting in one of the strongest rosters ever seen in a Canadian cricket league.
Notable names confirmed prior to the draft include Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Colin Munro, Mustafizur Rahman, Andre Russell, and Jonny Bairstow, along with pre-signed stars like Sam Billings, Chris Lynn, and Chris Jordan.
The draft also introduced additional international talent, including Moeen Ali, Imad Wasim, Tom Curran, David Willey, Tymal Mills, Azam Khan, and Andries Gous. Canadian players such as Saad Bin Zafar, Kaleem Sana, Nicholas Kirton, Yuvraj Samra, Ali Nadeem, Dilraj Deol, and Finley Dixon were also prominently featured.
