Brazil Unveils 26-Man Squad for Upcoming Friendlies Against India and Australia
Brazil's Squad Announcement
On September 10, Brazil revealed a 26-player roster featuring prominent names such as Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, and Marquinhos for their upcoming friendly matches against India and Australia.
The Brazilian team is set to compete against Australia on September 25 at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville, followed by another match on September 29 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. Additionally, they will make history by playing their inaugural match against India on October 3 at 7:30 PM IST at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
According to a statement from the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), Coach Carlo Ancelotti selected a total of 26 players for Brazil's first matches post-World Cup, with ten players hailing from Brazilian clubs. The announcement was made at the CBF headquarters in Rio, where Ancelotti also held a press conference.

Brazil recently reached the round of 16 in the FIFA World Cup 2026. The five-time champions have not lifted the trophy since 2002 and faced an exit against Norway in the knockout stage.
