Patna (Bihar) [India], September 10: The final match of the Bihar T10 League 2026 took place at Urja Stadium in Patna, where Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary served as the chief guest on Thursday.
During the match, CM Choudhary actively supported and motivated the players. The championship game featured a showdown between the Bhagalpur Titans and the Champaran Champions, with the Titans claiming victory.
Following the match, the Chief Minister awarded the trophy to the triumphant Bhagalpur Titans and presented medals and accolades to both the winners and the runners-up, Champaran Champions.
Earlier that day, CM Choudhary announced that pension payments under social security schemes would be directly deposited into the bank accounts of beneficiaries on the 10th of each month.
Speaking at an event in Gangta Mor, located in Munger's Haveli Kharagpur, he revealed that Rs 1,233.87 crore was transferred as pension for August 2026 via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to 105.68 lakh beneficiaries, with each receiving Rs 1,100. Additionally, 98,896 new beneficiaries have been included in the social security pension scheme.
Choudhary emphasized the government's dedication to providing social security to all eligible individuals, ensuring no discrimination based on caste, religion, or other factors.
He stated, "Timely pension transfers are a priority for the government, and the 10th of every month has been designated for these payments."
During the event, the Chief Minister also initiated the foundation stone laying for the expansion and reinforcement of National Highway-333, covering the stretch from kilometre 28.340 (Gangta) to kilometre 38.340 (Kohbarwa Mor) via remote mode.
