India is scheduled to compete in two T20 matches against Ireland on June 26 and 28, raising safety concerns for the board. A knife attack in the city has led to reports of violence against immigrants, with footage circulating on social media that has intensified public unrest. Protests erupted in various locations, with masked individuals setting vehicles ablaze, vandalizing shops, and damaging public property. Additionally, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who impressed during the IPL, will make his much-anticipated debut, likely opening alongside Abhishek Sharma to create a formidable batting partnership.
