Bangladesh Cricket Board Unveils Exciting 2026 Home International Schedule
Bangladesh's 2026 International Cricket Calendar Announced
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revealed an extensive international cricket schedule for the 2026 season, promising an action-packed lineup.
As per the newly released schedule, India is expected to visit Bangladesh for a series of white-ball matches in August and September 2026.
During this home season, Bangladesh will host a total of four Test matches, 12 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and nine Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Notably, India will play three ODIs and three T20Is in Bangladesh, according to reports from ESPNcricinfo.
Originally, India's tour was set for August 2025 but has now been postponed to September 2026. This change was mutually agreed upon by the BCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) last year.
In a joint statement, both boards confirmed, “The white-ball series, consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is, has been deferred from August 2025 to September 2026.”
India's last visit to Bangladesh occurred in 2024, where they played a three-match T20I series, winning all three games, and a two-match Test series, which they also won 2-0.
The home season for Bangladesh is set to kick off in March, following the men's T20 World Cup.
Pakistan will tour for a three-match ODI series and will return in May for a two-Test series. Additionally, New Zealand is scheduled to visit in April and May for a complete white-ball tour, featuring three ODIs and three T20Is.
Australia will also visit in June for a white-ball series that includes three ODIs and three T20Is. The season will wrap up in October and November with a two-Test series against the West Indies.
