Bangladesh Announces Squad for T20I Series Against Pakistan

Bangladesh Cricket Board Reveals T20I Squad
On July 17, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) unveiled the team roster for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan.
This squad recently faced Sri Lanka, securing a 2-1 series victory after initially trailing 0-1.
The Pakistan cricket team has already arrived in Dhaka, where all three matches of the series will be hosted.
The T20I matches are scheduled for July 20, 22, and 24, taking place at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
The Bangladeshi team reached Dhaka today following an eight-wicket triumph over Sri Lanka in the final T20I match held in Colombo.
Litton Das made history as the first captain of Bangladesh to clinch two T20I series victories abroad. Previously, he led his team to a 3-0 win against the West Indies in December of last year.
Currently, Bangladesh's batting lineup is performing exceptionally well, with key contributions from Tanzid Hasan, Litton Das, Towhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain in their recent matches against Sri Lanka. In the third T20I, offspinner Mahedi Hasan shone with outstanding figures of 4 for 11, while Rishad Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman maintained impressive economy rates of under six runs per over.
However, Bangladesh's last T20I series against Pakistan resulted in a 3-0 defeat in Lahore during May and June of this year. Historically, Pakistan has had the upper hand in T20I encounters, winning 19 out of the 22 matches played between the two nations.
Here is the Bangladesh squad for the T20I series against Pakistan:
Litton Das (captain), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mohammad Naim, Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali, Shamim Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mohammad Saifuddin.
