Remarkable Performances at the Championships
Bhubaneswar (Odisha) witnessed an impressive display of athletic talent as Jyothi Yarraji made a stunning return to the track after a hiatus of 383 days. She clinched the Gold medal in the women's 100m hurdles at the Inter State Athletics Championships, finishing the race in 13.14 seconds, which secured her a place in the upcoming Asian Games scheduled from September 19 to October 4.
In the men's 800m event, Mohammed Afsal also achieved the qualifying standard for the Asian Games, clocking an impressive time of 1:47.69 minutes.
Anushka Yadav made headlines in the hammer throw by breaking the national record with a remarkable throw of 67.02 meters, ensuring her spot at the Asian Games.

Dev Meena also made his mark by clearing 5.46 meters in the men's pole vault, setting a new national record and qualifying for the Asian Games.
