Trophy Unveiling Marks Start of Asian Legends League Season

Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) [India], March 22: The Asian Legends League officially revealed its trophy in Rudrapur on Sunday, gearing up for an eagerly awaited season that will showcase some of the most renowned figures in international cricket.


As per a statement from the tournament organizers, the second season of the Asian Legends League is set to kick off on June 2.


The event saw the presence of notable cricketers such as Thisara Perera, Asghar Afghan, Rishi Dhawan, and Angelo Perera, who added a touch of glamour to the ceremony.


During the event, Thisara Perera shared his thoughts, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming tournament. He stated, “The previous season was fantastic, and being part of such a well-structured and competitive league was a wonderful experience. I am genuinely looking forward to this season. The quality of cricket, the camaraderie among players, and the passion from the fans make this league unique. We aim to deliver even better performances this time around.”

This season will feature six teams: Indian Royals, Sri Lankan Lions, Afghanistan Pathans, Asian Stars, Pakistan Panthers, and Bangladesh Tigers, showcasing a rich diversity of cricketing talent from the continent.


The Asian Legends League is scheduled to take place in June 2026.
