Following the ceremony, he shared additional photos, including some with his wife, Akshita Raj, offering a glimpse into their wedding day. He described the event as, "This beautiful wedding felt more like documenting two legends walking out for their forever innings. No retakes, just timing, trust, and team spirit."
Although the wedding took place in Varanasi, celebrations had already begun in Baddi, Akash's hometown in the Rohtas district of Bihar, where family, friends, and well-wishers gathered for various ceremonies. Notably, Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh was among the attendees. Akshita hails from Manikpur in Dehri. Akash’s mother remarked, "My son is a traditional Indian young man, and he has chosen an Indian woman as his life partner. This marriage is taking place with the blessings and approval of the family."
Akash Deep's Cricketing Journey
The 29-year-old cricketer made his international debut during a Test match against England in Ranchi in 2024, where he made an immediate impact by dismissing the top three English batters—Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, and Zak Crawley—within the first ten runs. His last international appearance was during the tour of England last year. Although he was set to play for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2026 Indian Premier League, a back injury unfortunately sidelined him from the tournament.
