Captain Rempuia delivered a cross from the right, and Jagdeep Singh, in an attempt to clear, accidentally headed the ball into his own net, leveling the score.
Despite seven minutes of added time, Sreenidi could not find a winning goal, and both teams settled for a draw, with Aizawl showing resilience in the second half to earn a valuable point.
