AIFF Opens Bidding for Commercial Rights of Major Football Competitions

The All India Football Federation has commenced the bidding process for commercial rights associated with key football competitions, including the Indian Super League and the Indian Women’s League. With bids submitted by notable organizations, the AIFF is set to evaluate these proposals in a meeting scheduled for March 29, 2026. AIFF Launches RFP for Commercial Rights

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially initiated the bidding process for the Request for Proposal (RFP) concerning the commercial rights associated with its competitions and properties.


According to information available on the AIFF website, the rights up for bid include those for the Indian Super League (ISL), the Federation Cup (previously known as the Super Cup), the Indian Women’s League (IWL), and IWL 2.


Three organizations have submitted their bids. FanCode and Genius Sports are competing for the commercial rights linked to the Indian Super League and the Federation Cup.


On the other hand, Capri Sports has expressed interest in the commercial rights for both the Indian Women’s League and IWL 2.


The submitted bids are structured for a 15-year period, with an option for a five-year extension, granting the winning bidder the right of first refusal.


Additionally, the proposal stipulates a yearly increase of five percent in value throughout the contract's duration.


The AIFF Executive Committee will review the bid evaluation report during its meeting scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, with a decision anticipated on that same day.
