The Indian lawn bowls team had a remarkable outing in 2022, with the women's fours team, comprising Lovely Choubey, Pinki, Nayanmoni Saikia, and Rupa Rani Tirkey, making history by winning the country's first Commonwealth Games medal in this sport. The men's team also performed admirably, with Sunil Bahadur, Chandan Singh, Navneet Singh, and Dinesh Kumar earning a silver medal in the men's fours event.
