Excitement Builds for Chikmagalur Gravel Fest 2025

Chikmagalur (Karnataka) [India], May 2: The motorsport scene is buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming Chikmagalur Gravel Fest 2025, scheduled for May 3 and 4 at Survey 85, Sangnipura Road, Kurvangi Grama.

This event, organized by the Motor Sports Club of Chikmagalur (MSCC), will be a significant qualifying round for the Octane Pits FMSCI Indian National Autocross Championship (INAC) 2025, attracting elite drivers from all over India, as stated in a recent announcement.

The 2025 season is set to feature a record-breaking participation of over 100 competitors across eight classes, including a dedicated Women’s Class in INAC2/INAC3 Open. The competition will follow the FIA Formula One points system (25-18-15 for the top three finishes) on a 2.2-kilometer all-gravel track, ensuring a thrilling experience that tests every skill, quick decision-making, and endurance in Karnataka's coffee region. Notably, women racers will enjoy free entry for this race, promoted by Octane Pits under Lokesh Gowda's guidance.

With a total prize pool exceeding Rs 7 lakh, the highest ever for an INAC qualifier, the Chikmagalur Gravel Fest 2025 raises the stakes, offering rewards not just for drivers but also for their essential pit crews, including a special prize for the BEST TUNER. The event will also honor the GRAVEL FEST KING, awarded to the fastest driver of the day.

In line with international motorsport standards, this year's festival will provide caravan facilities for participants, on-site rally tire availability, top-notch accommodation, and comprehensive hospitality, including meals and refreshments for competitors, tuners, and fans alike.

Sanctioned by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and adhering to the 2025 FIA International Sporting Code and relevant FMSCI regulations, the Chikmagalur Gravel Fest is one of seven qualifying rounds in the INAC Cup circuit.

To qualify for the Grand Finals, drivers must compete in at least two rounds, with only the top five finishers in each class earning a spot in the final championship showdown, where the best in Indian autocross will be crowned.
