Chennai Bulls Dominate in Mumbai

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 17: The Chennai Bulls have achieved a remarkable feat by winning all three of their matches in the inaugural season of the Rugby Premier League (RPL) held at the Shahaji Raje Bhosale Sports Complex in Mumbai, as reported by RPL.

In their latest match, the Bulls showcased their strength by overpowering the Delhi Redz with a decisive score of 21-7 on Tuesday evening. Vaafauese Maliko and Joaquin Pellandini were instrumental in this victory, delivering standout performances.

The Chennai Bulls displayed their exceptional form right from the start, dominating the game. The Delhi Redz struggled to mount any significant offense early on, falling behind due to two tries scored by Maliko, both of which were successfully converted by Pellandini.

Just before halftime, Terry Kennedy made a remarkable run nearly the length of the field to secure a third try for the Bulls, followed by another successful conversion from Pellandini. By the end of the first half, the Bulls held a commanding 21-0 lead.

In the second half, the Bulls maintained their defensive strength, preventing the Redz from scoring until the final moments of the game. In a last-ditch effort, Matias Osadczuk managed to score a try for the Redz and converted his own kick, altering the final score to 21-7 in favor of the Bulls.

In the day's second match, the Hyderabad Heroes delivered an impressive performance against the Bengaluru Bravehearts, winning decisively with a score of 43-7. This victory propelled the Heroes to second place in the points table, marking the largest winning margin of the tournament thus far.
