Chelsea Green, recognized as a former United States Champion on the WWE Smackdown roster, faced a challenging moment during Saturday Night’s Main Event. After losing her title last weekend, she not only relinquished her status as the inaugural champion in that category but also sustained an injury. Despite this setback, her portrayal of the injury on television and social media has garnered admiration from WWE officials.
On May 31, Green responded to a tweet from Rasslin inquiring about her nose injury following her match against Zelina Vega. True to her character, she humorously denied the injury, stating, “NO WHATRE TOU TALKING ABOUR IT WAS NEVER BROKEN.”

During the second match of the latest Saturday Night’s Main Event 2025 Specials held at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, Zelina Vega (c) successfully defended her Women’s United States Championship against Chelsea Green. The match was intense, with Vega ultimately winning via a Code Red.
Unfortunately, Green left the match with a broken nose, reportedly due to a mishap during Vega's 619 move. It remains to be seen how this injury will affect Green's wrestling schedule over the summer, but she is expected to continue appearing on WWE Smackdown.

Despite the injury, Green quickly returned to the backstage area to film content. WWE Smackdown officials were impressed by her dedication, with one remarking, “Green lost the match, broke her nose… and promptly went backstage to film content for WWE.”
There were speculations that she might take a break due to her injury, but that was not the case. On the May 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, Green made a comeback wearing a stylish half-face mask adorned with rhinestones, blending Lucha Libre aesthetics with high fashion. She stormed into GM Nick Aldis’ office, demanding that Zelina Vega be stripped of her title.
