With just three days remaining until IPL 2026 kicks off, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have begun selling tickets for their home matches, but the situation remains unchanged. RCB's tickets went on sale at 4:00 PM on Tuesday and were gone in under a minute. Similarly, MI's tickets disappeared just as quickly, yet they can be found at inflated prices on resale websites.

For the MI vs KKR match, resale prices are reported to start at Rs 6,500, with some tickets exceeding Rs 50,000, as noted by Mid-Day. For high-stakes games like MI vs RCB, ticket prices can range from Rs 15,000 to Rs 1 lakh. This lack of clarity in ticketing has left many fans feeling disheartened. The IPL's success hinges on its supporters, yet it appears that the franchises and governing bodies are indifferent to the very foundation of the IPL community.

RCB Set to Face SRH in Season Opener

As the IPL season approaches, RCB will kick off the tournament by hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, MI will play their inaugural match against KKR on March 29, followed by Chennai Super Kings facing off against Rajasthan Royals on March 30.
