Toronto [Canada], June 13: The FIFA World Cup 2026 encounter between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Canada concluded in a 1-1 stalemate at BMO Field on Saturday, following a late equalizer from Cyle Larin for the co-hosts.

With this result, both teams secured a point each. Canada is still in search of their inaugural World Cup victory, having participated in seven matches at the pinnacle of international football.

The match kicked off with an early opportunity for Canada in the second minute, as Luc de Fougerolles found himself near the goal post after a scramble. As Bosnia appeared to be on course for victory, Cyle Larin reignited the crowd's hopes with a goal in the 79th minute. After some impressive play from Kone, Larin volleyed the ball into the bottom right corner, taking a slight deflection along the way.

The match ended with both teams sharing the spoils, leaving the scoreline unchanged until the final whistle.
