A Rich Legacy in Amateur Golf

The BMW Golf Cup is recognized as one of the largest amateur golf tournament series globally, originating from a British initiative that began 25 years ago and operated independently for five years before expanding internationally.

Initially launched as the BMW Invitation Tournament in the UK, it has evolved into a worldwide series featuring 1,000 qualifying tournaments with participation from 100,000 players across approximately 40 countries.

Top players from each participating nation earn a spot in the prestigious BMW Golf Cup World Final, where individual titles are contested across three categories.
