Glamorgan's Victory Over Essex

In the match, Glamorgan won the toss and opted to field first at Sophia Gardens. Despite an early wicket, Essex managed to post a total of 183-8 in their 20 overs. Michael Pepper was the standout performer for Essex, scoring 60 runs off just 30 deliveries, including two fours and five sixes, while Dean Elgar contributed 32 runs.

For Glamorgan, Daniel Douthwaite was impressive with three wickets, while both Mason Crane and Ben Kellaway took two wickets each, keeping Essex under 200 runs.

Although the target of 184 runs was challenging, Essex's bowlers struggled to contain Glamorgan's batting lineup. A quick 93 from captain Kiran Carlson, along with a solid 43 from William Smale, ensured a successful chase.
