England's Opener Praises Bumrah's Bowling Skills

In a thrilling second day of the Test match in Leeds between India and England, Ben Duckett, the opener for England, expressed admiration for Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. The day was filled with excitement, showcasing Rishabh Pant's remarkable century alongside India's surprising batting collapse, followed by a strong batting performance from England.

England dominated much of the day's play, largely thanks to a composed innings from Ollie Pope, who achieved his ninth Test century and his second against India while batting at the crucial No. 3 position.

Duckett openly declared Bumrah as the 'best bowler in the world,' acknowledging the challenges he presents in various conditions. He highlighted how difficult it is to face Bumrah, regardless of the pitch or weather.

He remarked, 'He performs well in India on the flattest pitches, and when he bowls downhill with the lights on and the ball swinging, it becomes quite challenging. We managed to limit the damage early on, which could have been much worse today, so we are satisfied with our current position.'

Duckett further elaborated on Bumrah's unique run-up, stating, 'You find yourself waiting for him to arrive, and his ability to deliver multiple types of deliveries without any indication is remarkable. You can't tell if he's bowling a bouncer, a slower ball, or an inswinger until it leaves his hand. His wrist action is incredibly fast, which is why you must focus intently on the ball when facing him.'
