Becky Lynch is making strides in the entertainment industry while continuing her wrestling career, bringing more WWE talent into Hollywood. Recently, there have been announcements about Cody Rhodes joining the cast of the new "Naked Gun" reboot, and Roman Reigns is set to portray Akuma in the upcoming "Street Fighter" remake, with Rhodes potentially appearing alongside him.

As for Becky Lynch, the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion, she is reportedly set to take on an acting role in the FX series titled "Movers," as per updates from a reliable source. This series will be produced by Cathy Shim and Robert Ben Garant, known for their work on the Comedy Central show "Reno 911."

In this new project, Lynch will share the screen with Darius Homayoun from "Sex/Life," Manny Montana from "Mayan MC," and comedians Maz Jobrani and Tanael Joachim. The premiere date for the show has yet to be announced.

The series is described as an "improvised workplace comedy focusing on the chaotic and interdependent lives of a moving crew." Additionally, there are speculations about how Lynch's involvement in "Movers" might affect her future in WWE, especially after the series is picked up.

Besides Lynch, other WWE stars like Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes are also branching out into film, with Liv Morgan recently completing a role in the upcoming Takashi Miike film "Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo," which continues the story from the previous "Bad Lieutenant" films.

Upcoming Title Defense at WWE Evolution 2025

Currently, Becky Lynch is scheduled to defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria at WWE Evolution 2025 this Sunday. If she loses the title during this premium live event, it may be due to her filming commitments for the new series.

Earlier in 2025, Lynch had taken a nearly year-long break from WWE programming. She made her return at WrestleMania in April, during which she focused on various acting projects, including roles in Netflix’s "Happy Gilmore 2" and the Paramount+ series "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy."
