This eagerly awaited encounter between the Barcelona Legends and Real Madrid Legends is anticipated to attract a large crowd, reviving the spirit of one of football's greatest rivalries, known as El Clasico.


To facilitate smooth traffic flow and ensure public safety near the stadium, the Navi Mumbai Police have put special measures in place. DCP (Traffic) Tirupati Kakade has advised fans to use public transportation to mitigate congestion in the limited parking areas surrounding the venue.


"A football match featuring Barcelona Legends and Real Madrid Legends is scheduled at DY Patil Stadium today," DCP Kakade stated.


"Police personnel have been assigned to manage the event. Parking has been arranged for attendees, but due to limited space, we encourage everyone to utilize public transport to avoid parking issues," he added.


This match is part of a broader initiative aimed at promoting global football culture and practices in India. Sergi Barjuan, a former defender and captain of the Barcelona Legends team, shared his enthusiasm for the event and highlighted the significance of connecting with Indian fans.


"We are thrilled to be here and look forward to playing tonight," Barjuan remarked.
