Captain Mhatre's Remarkable Century

In the inaugural Youth Test match, Ayush Mhatre delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 102 runs off 115 balls. His innings was marked by 14 boundaries and 2 sixes, demonstrating his excellent form. This performance was a significant turnaround for Mhatre, who had struggled in the Youth ODI series, managing only 27 runs across four innings against England.


Suryavanshi's Struggles in Test Format

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who excelled in the ODI series as India's top scorer, faced challenges in the longer format. After hitting three consecutive boundaries, he was dismissed for 14 runs off 13 balls in the first innings. Meanwhile, Vihan Malhotra contributed significantly with a solid 67 runs off 99 balls.
