As the Punjab Kings (PBKS) prepare for their Qualifier two match against the Mumbai Indians (MI), pacer Arshdeep Singh shared insights about his favorite Indian Premier League (IPL) game. This memorable match featured him taking four wickets against the five-time champions during a thrilling encounter in the 2023 season.

Punjab Kings' Quest for Victory

Shreyas Iyer's PBKS, which dominated the league stage with nine victories out of 13 matches, is looking to recover from a disappointing eight-wicket defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Qualifier one. Their goal is to secure a spot in the title match against RCB at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Arshdeep's Standout Performance

During an interview on JioHotstar and Star Sports, Arshdeep highlighted his favorite match against MI, where he played a crucial role in defending a target of 215 runs. He achieved remarkable bowling figures of 4/29, with a memorable moment being the dismissal of Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera in consecutive deliveries.

"My debut was special, but the match against Mumbai at Wankhede stands out. MI was chasing around 220 runs, and I took four wickets, leading us to victory. It holds a special place in my heart," he remarked.

Arshdeep discussed his approach to pressure, expressing gratitude for the trust his team places in him during critical moments. He stated, "I try to enjoy the moment and deliver positive results for the team. While it doesn't always go as planned, I focus on performing well in future matches to help secure victories."

He added, "This season, my aim is to assist Punjab in clinching their first IPL title and to establish a legacy for the Punjab Kings in the years to come."
