Arshad Nadeem Prioritizes Training Over Competition

On Wednesday, Arshad Nadeem, the Olympic champion from Pakistan, announced that he will not be participating in the NC Classic javelin competition in Bengaluru on May 24, as it conflicts with his training regimen for the upcoming Asian Athletics Championships.


Nadeem expressed his appreciation to Neeraj Chopra for the invitation, stating, "I am set to depart for Korea on May 22 to prepare for the Asian Athletics Championships."


He emphasized the importance of his training, as he gears up for the championships scheduled to take place in Gumi, Korea, from May 27 to 31.


Earlier this week, Chopra revealed that he had invited Nadeem to join the inaugural event he is hosting.
