Arjun Tendulkar Set to Play in Mumbai T20 League After IPL Stint with LSG
Arjun Tendulkar's IPL Journey with LSG
Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has yet to make his debut in the IPL this season, having been part of both the Mumbai Indians and now the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Despite being included in the squad, he has not had the opportunity to play a single match as the IPL season progresses.
Transition from Mumbai Indians to LSG
Arjun, who is primarily a bowler but occasionally showcases his batting skills, has struggled to secure playing time in the IPL. This year, he was traded from Mumbai Indians to LSG, yet he remains on the sidelines, traveling with the team without making it to the playing eleven.
Upcoming T20 Mumbai League Auction
Looking ahead, Arjun is preparing to participate in the T20 Mumbai League, with player auctions scheduled for June 2. He has registered for the auction, and if all goes well, he is likely to be picked by a team. This league, organized by the Mumbai Cricket Association, features a mix of established and emerging players.
LSG's Struggles in the IPL Season
The LSG team, under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant, has had a challenging season, winning only two out of eight matches and currently sitting at the bottom of the points table with four points. While mathematically they are not out of the race, it is widely believed that their IPL season is nearing its end. It remains to be seen if Arjun will finally get a chance to play in the remaining six matches or if this season will pass without him stepping onto the field.
