Arjun Singh's Dominance at the Picklebay Zonals
On June 26, Arjun Singh showcased his exceptional skills by clinching the Pro Men's Singles title at the Picklebay Zonals - North, a PWR 700 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), held at Horizon x Courtplay in Gurgaon. Remarkably, he achieved this victory without losing a single game.
At just 15 years old, Arjun, who has already been selected to lead India's U18 team, further solidified his prospects for a spot in the senior national team. In the final match, he defeated Anish Frolian R decisively with scores of 11-7 and 11-6.
Arjun's journey through the tournament was impressive; he began with a commanding 11-3 win against Aman Patel. In the Round of 16, he dominated Vishal Jadhav with a 15-2 victory. Continuing his strong performance, he triumphed over Yash Gaikwad in the quarterfinals with a score of 15-3.
In the semifinals, Arjun faced Diwakar Agarwal and won comfortably with scores of 11-5 and 11-6, before concluding his campaign with another straight-game victory against Anish.
This latest title adds to his impressive track record in 2026 and enhances his chances of being selected for the Indian senior team at the upcoming Pickleball World Cup, scheduled to take place in Da Nang, Vietnam, from August 30 to September 6.
