Singh Brothers Claim Victory at Picklebay Zonals
Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh showcased their exceptional skills by clinching the Pro Men's Doubles title at the Picklebay Zonals – North, a PWR 700 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), which took place at Horizon X Courtplay in Gurgaon on June 28. The sibling duo delivered a stellar performance in the final, overcoming Stavya Bhasin and Ammol Ramchandani with scores of 11-2 and 11-6.
The Singh brothers set a strong pace right from the start, dominating the first game 11-2 and putting their rivals under significant pressure. Although Stavya and Ammol raised their game in the second set, Arjun and Aditya maintained their composure and teamwork, ultimately winning the match 11-6.
Earlier in the semifinals, the champions faced a tougher challenge against Anay Patil and Maitreya Bhagat. After winning the first game 11-4, they lost the second 7-11 but bounced back decisively in the final game, winning 11-2 to secure their spot in the finals. On the other hand, Stavya and Ammol reached the final after a strong semifinal performance, defeating Ronav Motiani and Divyanshu Kataria with scores of 11-10 in both games.
The Pro Men's Doubles event featured numerous competitive matches throughout the day, but Arjun and Aditya remained unbeaten, demonstrating a blend of strategic play and aggression to emerge as champions. This victory adds another significant title to their growing list of achievements, solidifying their status as one of India's top pickleball pairs.
