Anmol Malik's Remarkable Victory
Anmol Malik celebrated a remarkable achievement by securing the Beginner Men's Doubles title at the Picklebay Zonals - North, a PWR 700 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA). This event took place at The Horizon X Courtplay in Gurgaon on June 24. Earlier that day, Anmol had already claimed the Beginner Men's Singles title, and he returned to the court alongside Anubhav Malik to clinch a second championship. The duo triumphed over Vansh Arora and Shubham Khatri with a score of 21-14 in the final match.
To reach the finals, Anmol and Anubhav showcased their skills by defeating Ashutosh Goel and Dhruv Goyale 15-8 in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Vansh and Shubham secured their spot in the final by overcoming Vijit and Shashank with a score of 15-9. During the championship match, Anmol and Anubhav displayed remarkable composure, effectively managing the pressure. Their combination of consistent play and strategic shot selection allowed them to dominate the match and keep their opponents at bay.
This victory marked a significant milestone for Anmol, who concluded the tournament with two titles and an undefeated record in the beginner category.
