Champions of the 30+ Open Men's Doubles


Anay Patil and Vishal Kisan Jadhav clinched the title in the 30+ Open Men's Doubles category during the Picklebay Zonals - North, a PWR 700 event sanctioned by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), held at Horizon x Courtplay in Gurgaon on June 26. The duo faced an initial challenge but managed to secure victory against Sahil Sachdeva and Rohan Bhatnagar with scores of 9-11, 11-7, and 11-8 in a thrilling final match.


After losing the first game, the champions regrouped effectively, enhancing their defensive strategies and improving their net play. Their ability to maintain composure under pressure was crucial in turning the match in their favor. Despite a strong performance from Sahil and Rohan, who showcased aggressive shot-making, Anay and Vishal remained steadfast in the final moments to complete their comeback.


In the earlier rounds, Sreekar and Naveen T secured the bronze medal by defeating Rohan Dsouza and Himanshu Diwaskar with a score of 15-7 in the third-place playoff.
