Amy Jones' Remarkable Ascent in ICC Rankings

Dubai [UAE], June 10: In the latest update from the ICC Women's Rankings, England's wicketkeeper-batter Amy Jones has made significant strides, moving up three positions to secure the seventh spot in the ODI Batting Rankings.

Jones achieved this remarkable feat following a stunning century in the first ODI of the three-match series against the West Indies, and she continued her impressive form with another century.

Her outstanding score of 129 runs off just 98 balls in the second ODI propelled her into the top five, placing her fourth overall with 689 Rating Points. The top three positions are held by Laura Wolvaardt, Smriti Mandhana, and Nat Sciver-Brunt.

Thanks to Jones' exceptional performances, England maintained an unbeaten streak in the ODI series, which followed their 3-0 victory in the T20I series against the West Indies.

Kate Cross, another key player for England, also shone in the series, taking three wickets, including an impressive 1/15 in the final ODI. She now ranks eighth in the ICC Women's ODI Bowling Rankings.

With the upcoming tour to India, Jones, Cross, and their teammates have a chance to further enhance their standings in the Women's Rankings.
