Bhatia's Performance at the Travelers Championship

Cromwell [US] June 22: Akshay Bhatia finished the day tied for 35th place after posting an even-par score of 70 at the Travelers Championship. His round featured an eagle, but he now finds himself nine strokes behind the leaders, Scottie Scheffler (71), Justin Thomas (64), and Tommy Fleetwood (65), who all sit at 9-under.


During his round, Bhatia managed to birdie the third hole and eagle the sixth, but he also faced setbacks with a bogey on the fourth and a double bogey on the 17th hole.


Scottie Scheffler, who started strong with an 8-under on the first day, encountered an early bogey on the sixth hole but bounced back with four birdies, bringing him to 11-under before he dropped a double on the Par-4 17th, marking the final day of this season's USD 20 million Signature events.


Rory McIlroy, currently ranked second in the world, struggled early, going 3-over through four holes, ultimately finishing with a 1-over 71. He now stands at 5-under, tied for ninth place.


Justin Thomas showcased an impressive performance, scoring five consecutive birdies from the 11th to the 15th, finishing with a score of 64. This season, he has already secured one victory at the RBC Heritage and has three second-place finishes, while Scheffler aims for his fourth win of the season.


Tommy Fleetwood, an accomplished eight-time DP World Tour champion, is still in pursuit of his first PGA TOUR title.


Denny McCarthy (64) and Austin Eckroat (71) are both at 7-under 133, followed closely by Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley (70) and Nick Taylor (68).
