AIFF's New Proposal for Judicial Committees
During a recent meeting at the Football House in New Delhi, the Executive Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) put forth a proposal to create Independent Judicial Committees, aligning with the Constitution sanctioned by the Supreme Court of India.

The Election Committee will be led by former Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, with members including former Delhi DGP Vivek Gogia and ex-CBI officer Surinder Singh Gurm.
The Ethics and Dispute Resolution Committee will be chaired by former DGP Ranjit Kumar Pachnanda, while Justice Ashok Tripathi (retd) will serve as the Deputy Chairperson.
Justice Vineet Saran (retd) is proposed to lead the Disciplinary Committee, with Justice Raghavendra Kumar (retd) as Deputy Chairperson.
The Players' Status Committee is set to be chaired by Justice Ravindra Singh (retd).
Lastly, the Appeal Committee will be headed by Justice Hemant Gupta (retd), with Justice KS Ahluwalia (retd) as Deputy Chairperson.
