Competing in the men's 65kg division, Aditya, who recently earned gold at the 9th Elite Men's National Boxing Championship in January 2026, achieved a decisive 5-0 unanimous decision victory against Mousa Alhawsaw from Saudi Arabia. His performance was marked by exceptional control and precision, as noted in a press release. This victory propels Aditya into the next round, where he will face Uzbekistan's Abdulloh Madaminov in a highly anticipated match.

On Day 3 of the Asian Boxing Championships 2026, India's Vishvanath Suresh and Sachin also delivered outstanding performances in Ulaanbaatar. In the men's 50kg category, Suresh showcased his skills with a commanding 5-0 unanimous decision win over Bekzat Ergeshov from Kyrgyzstan, demonstrating sharp technique and effective ring control.
