Vivo announces TWS Air 2 earbuds with 14.2mm drivers, ANC, and Bluetooth 5.3

Earlier today (30th October 2023), Vivo announced the new mid-range Y100 5G smartphone model. But this wasn't the only product announced during the launch, as the company officially revealed the pricing and availability details for the Vivo TWS Air 2 earbuds for the Chinese market.

The Chinese tech giant first announced true wireless earbuds in its home market with the Y33t and Y78t smartphones. However, the brand did not reveal the price and launch details of the Vivo TWS Air 2. But during the Y100 5G launch, the company confirmed that the new wireless earphones will be priced at 149 yuan (about US$20). ). It will be available for purchase through Tmall, JD.com and Vivo's official website and will go on sale in China on October 31.

The Vivo TWS Air 2 has 14.2mm drivers and a semi-in-ear design with a stem that lacks silicone ear tips like the Apple AirPods. Meanwhile, the charging case has a pebble-shaped body. The body of the new TWS is IP54 for dust and water protection. It offers 3D panoramic sound and DeepX 3.0 stereo sound for a more immersive audio experience.

Also comes with audible AI noise suppression for clear calling quality. Other notable features include 55mm low latency mode, 30 hours of battery life (earbuds offering 6 hours of endurance), USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, dual connection and various Bluetooth codec support (AAC, SBC and LC3).
