Bhubaneswar: In a groundbreaking achievement, CARE Hospitals in Bhubaneswar has successfully performed the first robotic, 3D-guided cementless knee replacement in Eastern India, led by orthopaedic expert Sandeep Singh, who trained in London.
The procedure was carried out on a 58-year-old retired educator from Bhubaneswar, who had been enduring severe knee arthritis.
Remarkably, the patient was able to stand and walk with assistance just 24 hours post-surgery, highlighting the procedure's effectiveness.
