IIT Bhubaneswar Unveils New MTech Program in Cybersecurity for Industry Professionals

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has introduced a new MTech program focused on cybersecurity, tailored for engineers currently employed in various sectors.
Set to begin on July 24, the program is now accepting applications from qualified candidates eager to enhance their cybersecurity expertise through this unique and adaptable educational approach, as stated by the institute.
This course has been developed in collaboration with WhizHack Technologies, a prominent name in India's cybersecurity training and simulation landscape, specifically catering to the needs of working professionals.
The program employs a blended learning format, merging theoretical knowledge with practical industry experience to equip participants with the advanced skills necessary to combat evolving digital threats across different sectors.
Candidates do not need to have a GATE score for admission; instead, selection will be based on their academic qualifications and work experience, according to the announcement.
The curriculum aims to deliver extensive insights into secure system architecture, cyber risk evaluation, governance and compliance, AI-enhanced security measures, blockchain security, and sophisticated attack-defense methodologies.
