As reported by MacRumors, Apple is said to be aware of the issue and may be "investigating" the same, as shared in a memo observed by Apple authorized service providers and reported by the publication. "Some customers may report their Apple Watch Series 9 or Apple Watch Ultra 2 experiencing erratic touch on their display," Apple was quoted as saying in an alleged memo seen by MacRumors. This touch is called "ghost" touch by users.

Additionally, the report adds that Apple users also describe their Apple Watches "jumping around randomly" and performing strangely, without any user input. This can also extend to the Apple Watch auto-dealing contacts and troubling users to add a device passcode to unlock them.

MacRumors further added that Apple recommends keeping the software up to date, suggesting that the issue may be resolved by the next WatchOS update.

Currently, it's unclear how soon affected users can expect an update and how widespread the problem really is. However, in the meantime, Apple has reportedly told repair partners not to address the issues until it completes its investigation.
