Bhai Ranjit Singh Ji, the head granthi of Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha in Dalhousie Cantonment, shared that the martyrdom anniversary of the Fifth Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, is being commemorated this year with profound respect and devotion.


He mentioned that the sacred Sri Akhand Path Sahib Ji began on June 15, 2026, at the Gurudwara Sahib, concluding with the bhog ceremony today, June 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. Following this, a special Diwan was held from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM, featuring the esteemed Ragi Jatha, Bhai Ajit Singh Ji from Gurdaspur, who enriched the gathering with heartfelt Gurbani Kirtan, elevating the spirits of the attendees.


After the Diwan, the Guru’s eternal Langar was served to all present. Bhai Ranjit Singh Ji kindly encouraged the Sangat to arrive at the Gurudwara Sahib punctually, engage in the Gurbani, and receive the infinite blessings and joy of the Guru’s house.


He also announced that a Nagar Kirtan is scheduled for this evening at 4:00 PM, inviting everyone to join in with enthusiasm.


Quoting a sacred verse, he stated: “Japio jin Arjan Dev Guru, phir sankat joni garbh na aayo.”
