Manimahesh Kailash Yatra Resumes Amid Weather Challenges
Pilgrimage to Lord Shiva's Abode
The renowned Manimahesh Kailash Yatra is currently taking place in Bharmour, drawing in devotees from all over India who wish to receive blessings from Lord Shiva.
On Thursday morning, the local administration in Bharmour temporarily halted the pilgrimage at Dal Manimahesh and Gaurikund due to adverse weather conditions and ongoing snowfall. However, as the weather improved later in the day, the yatra was allowed to continue.
Mukesh Repswal, the Deputy Commissioner of Chamba, noted that only two days remain for this year's pilgrimage. He urged pilgrims to check the weather updates before embarking on their journey, as the yatra's status may change based on weather conditions.
In a related development, a video showcasing the first snowfall of the season at Dal Lake has emerged, depicting devotees bathing in the frigid waters while snowflakes fall around them. This scene highlights their unwavering faith and commitment to Lord Shiva, even in challenging weather.
