On Friday, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal made his way to Dehradun to partake in the wedding celebrations of his teammate Kuldeep Yadav. He is set to marry his fiancée, Vanshika, on March 14, in the scenic hill station of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The ceremony will take place at the Welcomhotel The Savoy.

Reports suggest that the couple had a private engagement ceremony in Lucknow last June, attended by close family members. This wedding is also expected to maintain a low profile, with several notable cricket figures anticipated to attend, including former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar and current players Rinku Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma.

This wedding celebration follows India's impressive performance in the T20 World Cup 2026 final held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India clinched the title by defeating New Zealand, scoring an impressive 255 runs, thanks to half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson. New Zealand was bowled out for 159 runs.

After the victory, Kuldeep shared his pride in the team's accomplishment, stating, "This is a significant win. The tournament went exceptionally well for us, and we have been preparing for this moment for a long time."
