Incident of Intrusion Raises Alarms

New Delhi, August 5 - Saurabh Das, the chief spokesperson for the Cockroach People's Party (CJP), accused a group of YouTubers and media personnel of unlawfully entering his residence to capture images and videos. He described this incident as a significant security threat to his family and has called upon the Delhi police to take action.

Das, who claimed to be attending a two-day meeting of the CJP in Maharashtra, alleged in a post on X that around 15 to 20 individuals arrived at his home on Wednesday morning, with some having camped outside since the previous night.

He stated, 'Certain YouTubers and media channels forcibly entered my home and are showcasing the interior. This not only violates my privacy but also poses a serious security risk to me and my family.' Warning of potential consequences, Das added, 'If any antisocial elements attack me at my residence as a result, these YouTubers and their critics coordinating on social media will be directly responsible.'

In another post, he claimed that the videos have incited antisocial elements and thugs, creating a grave threat to the safety of everyone in his household. This issue has also been raised in Parliament, with the Trinamool Congress stating that it has brought the matter to the Rajya Sabha's attention.

Derek O'Brien, the Trinamool leader in the Rajya Sabha, shared a video of the proceedings on X, explaining that the party raised the issue through MP Rajeev Kumar. Das expressed gratitude to O'Brien for this intervention in response to his post. Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), also shared Das's post on X, commenting, 'This is the real face of Modi Ji.'

The CJP had initiated a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on June 20, demanding the resignation of then Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over an alleged exam paper leak and compensation for affected students. This protest, which lasted over a month, concluded on July 25 following Pradhan's resignation and assurances from the government regarding several demands from the protesters. The organization is currently holding a two-day national conference in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, to strategize its future actions.
