Youth Leadership Dialogue to Feature National Security Advisor and Prime Minister Modi
Inaugural Ceremony of Youth Leadership Dialogue
On January 10, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will participate in the opening ceremony of the Developed India Youth Leadership Dialogue, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the youth during the closing ceremony.
The three-day dialogue, taking place at Bharat Mandapam, will see participation from over 2,000 young individuals from across the nation. Additionally, 80 youths of Indian origin have been selected through the Ministry of External Affairs' 'Know India' program.
Engagement with Renowned Personalities
On the first day, participants will have the opportunity to engage with prominent figures such as Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain of India's World Cup-winning women's cricket team, legendary badminton player and coach Pullela Gopichand, and tennis star Leander Paes. The ministry confirmed that Ajit Doval will be present at the inaugural event.
Selection Rounds and Museum Visits
On January 9, the first day will feature selection rounds for various competitions. Participants will also be taken on tours of the National War Museum and the Prime Minister's Museum.
Themes for the Developed India Challenge Track
This year's Developed India Challenge Track includes ten themes, focusing on youth in democracy and governance, women's policy development as a key to a developed India, Fit India, Hit India, Self-Reliant India: Make in India, Make for the World, and building a future-ready workforce for a developed India.
Aiming for a Vision of Developed India
The Developed India Youth Leadership Dialogue is an initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aiming to empower Indian youth to play a significant role in shaping the vision for a developed India. The selection of participants was conducted through various competitions at different levels, including essay writing and quizzes, with over 5 million youths participating.
Prime Minister Modi to Address Youth on January 12
On January 12, coinciding with Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the main event. An official stated, 'During this occasion, the Prime Minister will address the youth and present the best suggestions from young participants for a developed India by 2047.'
